The Game Gazer exhibition shows off more than 20 games, installations, and apps that offer a peek into the play of tomorrow. They represent the third year in a row that swissnex brings the best of Swiss gaming to the Bay Area during the Game Developers Conference (GDC).
Dive into space with Nadezda Suvorova’s entrancing puzzle app, OKO, or play an actual piece of furniture—the Laser Cabinet—as if it were a video console. Follow the crazy adventures of Ned and Ted and scream out loud (really) to win in Talk Therapy. Attempt to grow into The Perfect Woman in one game and control the expressions of a portrait with a new technology from faceshift in another installation, called Mimicry. Don’t forget to check out the latest games developed for the new, open source console OUYA by Yves Behar, launching at GDC. And follow the UCLA Game Lab’s Arcade Backpack around to see what else is going on.
Come in, come play, and come explore the latest innovations in gaming and interaction from the Geneva University of Art and Design, Zurich University of the Arts, UCLA Game lab, and more.
